　　在日本东京都小金井市的梶野町，有一个全天下动画迷都心驰向往的圣地。申明显赫的吉卜力工作室，在绿萝藤蔓的点缀下仿佛圣境。70岁高龄的宫崎骏从未放动手中的画笔，现在他将面临本身最大的冲突——对飞翔器的酷爱和战役机作为杀人兵器的罪行属性，极具私人情怀的《起风了》在斑斓的阳光照映下静静诞生。与此同时，与宫师长订交跨越三十多年的铃木敏夫，作为建造人仔细周到地打理着工作室的巨细事务。另一头的工作室，已经因《我的邻人山田君》兴高采烈的高畑勋正在建造他的新片《辉夜姬物语》，只是不竭迟延的进度看来很难遇上和《起风了》同期上映。
