◎简　　介

　　迈克尔(汤姆?汉克斯 Tom Hanks 饰)是美国芝加哥一个黑帮老迈鲁尼的养子，他一向是鲁尼得力的左右手――帮派中使人恐惧的杀手“灭亡天使”。迈克尔虽然杀人不见血，但现实中却是一个文质彬彬，烟酒不沾的好丈夫、好父亲。他的两个儿子一向都不晓得父亲的职业，直到大儿子小迈克尔12岁了。一天他偷溜进父亲的汽车决议探知父亲的职业。
　　小迈克尔目击了一路杀人案，他的行为也被帮会知悉了。帮会怕他泄漏风声，但是迈克尔却以“他是我的儿子”为由保证他一定不会泄漏消息。但是，迈克尔的妻子和他的小儿子却遭帮会误杀了，他们原本的方针是他和小迈克尔。父子两起头了亡命天涯和复仇之路!
