◎简　　介

　　1970年，为逼迫军队听其颁发的劝说甲士规复日本昔日声誉和“纯洁”的讲话，日本右翼作家三岛由纪夫将真下将军截留为人质。但他的讲话却遭到甲士们的嘲笑，愤慨的三岛由纪夫回到屋中后剖腹自杀。影片以四个部分展现了三岛由纪夫的生平：（1）对真理和美男的看法；（2）艺术概念；（3）军事方面的活动；（4）剑和笔的同一。
