◎简　　介　

　　故事发生在1699年，故事的仆人公格列佛医生原本居住在英格兰的瓦平都，虽然比年的战争使得镇上的人们都有力付出医药费，但善良热情的格列佛仍不计回报地帮助着他们，可当格列佛意想到，他挣不到钱就没法让心爱的未婚妻伊丽莎白过上幸运的日子时，他挑选了跟从布里查德的船出海。伊丽莎白由于没法阻止他的行为也只好一同登上了货船。
　　
　　船在行驶途中遭受了风暴，一切的船员都落入了大海，格列佛醒来时发现自己漂泊到了一个叫利利普特的小人国，正巧利利普特王国与邻国布雷旧正面临着一场交战，格列佛帮助利利普特把布雷旧的战舰全数收缴，避免了一场战争，因此获得了人们的分歧爱戴，但得寸进尺的国王却在格列佛因救火而损坏了皇后的新衣后，将他逐出小人国。
　　
　　格列佛又飘流到了一个大人国，在那边他碰见了被狂风雨冲散的未婚妻伊丽莎白。大人国的人都很吝啬，格列佛由于鄙人棋时赢了国王而被看成了巫师，虽然他治好了王后的病，但还是不能逃走火刑的处置，幸亏有小女孩格兰的帮助，他和伊丽莎白才逃出了大人国。
　　
　　经过了又一次长时候的飘流，两人终究又回到了故乡英格兰的瓦平都。
