◎简　　介
　　艾米蒂岛是一个旅游度假胜地，有多量的旅客来这里泅水。但是，大白鲨的出现却改变了这一切。变乱从一对情侣起头，他们下海泅水，女的不幸成为了第一个牺牲者，支离破裂的尸身使人惨绝人寰。当地官员却不愿意封场观察，他们怕影响旅游支出，因而请来了生物学家布朗（理查德?德莱福斯 Richard Dreyfuss　饰）。
　　布朗判定，这是一只非比平常的庞大白鲨。他的提醒并没有引发政府的充足重视，紧接着又有人死于横死，局势才变得越发严重。当地一个熟练打鱼手、差人和布朗一共三人，决心要捕杀大白鲨，凶恶重重的奋斗起头了，谁才是最初的胜者？要获得这场战役的成功，又要支出怎样的价格？
