◎简　　介
　　沃尔特（梅尔·吉布森 Mel Gibson 饰）已经是一位奇迹有成的玩具公司总裁，但是金融危机的重创让他不但接近破产，还得了了郁闷症，负能量传染着每一个家庭成员，妻子梅瑞迪斯（朱迪·福斯特 Jodie Foster 饰）在各式无法的情况下只好让其搬进来住。意志低沉的沃尔特起头买醉过活，就在一次自杀得逞以后，他发现自己手上居然套着一只海狸布偶，这只布偶还起头三言两语地与他对话。在与海狸博弈的进程中，沃尔特又渐渐拾回了生活的勇气，但是他却似乎再也离不开对海狸的依靠。妻子对他的抖擞喜忧各半又无可何如，沃尔特能否才是阿谁真正被海狸操控的布偶，他又若何才能回归凡人的生活呢？
