We are now on the unique position to form an international cartel to control not only production, but distribution of these microchips. There is one obstacle - Sillicon Valley in San Francisco.

◎幕后揭秘
《雷霆杀机》是第十四部007电影，也是由罗杰·摩尔出演的最后一部。其实让罗杰·摩尔萌生去意的原因很简单，他在影片拍摄期间得知邦德女郎的扮演者坦娅·罗伯茨的母亲比自己都年轻，时年58岁的他终于意识到自己的年龄不再适合演绎风流倜傥的007。
本片是艾伯特·布罗克里的继子迈克尔·G·威尔森第一次担纲制片人的007影片，此前，他曾在《大破太空城》、《只为你的双眼》和《八爪女》中担任执行制片人，在《海底城》中担任制片人特别助理。
在影片剧组获许拍摄跳下埃菲尔铁塔的镜头前，曾有两名探险者为了寻求挑战和刺激未经允许就从埃菲尔铁塔跳了下去。在影片实拍时，曾计划跳两次，但第一次很成功，为了节省时间、经费和避免冒险，剧组决定一次通过。然而两位剧组人员却因为没能跳成失望不已，于是擅自攀上塔顶跳了下去，结果两人都因此失去了工作。
