◎简 介
Tony Manero（约翰·特拉沃尔塔 John Travolta 饰）是纽约布鲁克林区一个19岁的青年，白天在一个五金店打工，看起来是一个普通的少年。但是到了周六早晨，Tony就是当地迪斯科舞厅光芒四射的“舞王”。Annette是Tony的舞伴，两人原本计划加入舞厅将要举行的舞蹈角逐。但是当Tony碰见了Stephanie Mangano（凯伦·琳恩·高妮 Karen Lynn Gorney 饰）后，被她的舞技所感动。Tony向Stephanie求爱遭拒，可是Stephanie赞成当Tony的舞伴，和他一路加入角逐。两人天天勤加练习。在角逐的时辰两人奉献了出色的表演，获得了第一位。但是Tony以为有一对同伴舞技更好，只是由于他们是黑人而只能获二等奖。因而Tony把第一位让给了他们。角逐竣事，Tony再次向Stephanie求爱......
本片带动了那时的迪斯科高潮，Bee Gees的歌也风行全球。
