◎简 介
量古生物学学家瑞克?马绍尔（威尔?法瑞尔 Will Ferrell 饰）提出了时光观光的设想，并征得1500万美圆的经费专门开辟穿越时空的超光速粒子仪。但是公众对此并不买帐，反而对其大举嘲笑和报复。3年来，瑞克无法窝在一所小学里教书，安于现状。某天，来自剑桥的美丽女子霍莉（安娜?弗莱尔 Anna Friel 饰）找到瑞克，她展现了一块不成思议的化石，以此激励瑞克继续他的研讨。
重获信心的瑞克终极制造出超光速粒子仪，他和霍莉来到化石的发现地，预备停止时光观光的测试。在有些神经质的威尔（丹尼?麦克布莱德 Danny McBride 饰）的率领下，他们划着皮筏飘流。不意一场激烈地震忽然袭来，三人被狂卷的波涛带入一个未知的天下，一场布满惊险和刺激的探险就此展开……
