◎简 介
昭和60年，日本进入高度老龄化社会，与之相伴各类关键和冲突相继发生。厚生省为领会决孤寡老人无人照顾或照顾不周的题目，专门奉求某贸易化计较机公司生产出代号为Z-001的护理床。它可以周到地照顾老人的衣食住行，实时检查身材健康，更有自动升级和改良的功用。年逾古稀的老人高泽喜十郎生活在一片狭窄、陈旧的社区内，后代们忙碌各自生活，将瘫痪在床的老人交给自愿者三桥晴子照顾。未几，老人被后代交给厚生省用来测试Z-001的功效。机械虽然精巧，但除了晴子外没人真正关心高泽老民气里的孤独和凄凉。他一心想要回到年轻时和妻子去过的海边，与此同时，Z-001也在静静发生着变化……
