◎简 介
本片报告的是巴伐利亚国王Ludwig II的历史故事，从他1864年加冕直到1886年归天，为巴伐利亚凭添一份庄严而灰色的浪漫。国王除了一些怪癖之外还由于别的的事而著名：他将巴伐利亚卖给了德国；他在全国建造了大量使人赞叹的城堡（最著名的即是Neuschwanstein Castle）；他是Richard Wagner的首要援助人，却被他无情抛弃；还已经爱上了表姐奥天时公主Elisabeth。终极Ludwig II预见到自己悲凉的灭亡，他的尸首在施塔恩贝格湖中被发现，但死因一向不明。
