◎简 介
比利（文斯·沃恩 Vince Vaughn 饰）和尼克（欧文·威尔逊 Owen Wilson 饰）是了解多年的同事兼好友，两人勤勤恳恳的工作，为公司立下了诸多的汗马功绩。但是，某一天，两人却忽然被奉告，公司开张了，就这样，在毫无征象的情况下，两人中年汉子失业了。
一次偶然中，比利和尼克获得了一个在谷歌公司做练习生的机遇，迫于现实的无法和压力，两人只得“重新来过”。但是，这份练习生的工作也并非满有把握，在经过了一段时候的进修以后，比利和尼克必须加入一个经过率仅为5%的考试，及格后才可以留下成为正式工。面临从未打仗过的全新范畴，一对一丘之貉可以逢凶化吉吗？
