◎简 介
电视影集《时空怪客》男配角斯科特·巴库拉在片中饰演一位具有超自然感应才能的私人侦察哈利。他从纽约来到洛杉矶办案，不知不觉间掉入了一个黑暗阴森的陷井。哈利偶然碰见奇异把戏师菲利浦和他的娇妻桃乐西，未几菲利浦即在台上表演时被杀，而哈利却不由自立爱上了桃乐西。随着哈利深入观察案情，他发现菲利浦表演的奇异把戏都是跟恶魔尼克斯交换来的，而且这些都是骗人的幻术，只要移人把戏却是真的，情势逼使哈利非要跟邪恶气力决一死战不成。编导克莱夫·巴克改编自己原著的诡异惊悚小说，氛围处置颇佳，在略嫌薄弱的剧情中仍然拍出了吸引人的视觉结果，是侦察小说异化的一个成功尝试。
