◎简 介
故事发生在一个名叫加里森的小镇中，由于镇上居住的大大都都是差人，因而人们亲热的将其成为“差人镇”。一次意外中，警官巴比奇（迈克尔·拉帕波特 Michael Rapaport 饰）误以为两个青年想要开枪向他射击，出于差人的本能，他先发制人将两人击毙。事后，巴比奇才发现，那时那两个年轻人手上拿的底子就不是枪，而是一把偏向盘锁。
巴比奇的过失成为了当地的丑闻，为了袒护这一丑闻，警界同业们纷纷“出谋献策”，终极，经过同寅们的暗箱操纵，两个年轻人的车里凭空多出了一把枪，巴比奇也成为了一个由于保护小镇战争而失落的豪杰。可是，纸毕竟包不住火，巴比奇和差人镇的奥秘在一次偶然间被一个名叫弗莱迪（西尔维斯特·史泰龙 Sylvester Stallone 饰）的年轻治安官给看破了。
