【三小福闯金关】故事题材改编自Jack M. Bickham 的小说，故事内容是发生在１９世纪美国加州的某一小镇，有三位孤儿被迫由一位Russel Donovan 师长继续监护权，但是这位Donovan 师长却是一位生活漂泊的赌徒，抚养小孩的义务实在是一大没法承受的负担，后来没想到有了一大改变，在一次地震发生以后，三个小孩居然意外发现了大量地层外露的金矿，市道代价肤浅，小孩成了富翁的同时，却也是以带来连续串的麻烦，特别镇上很多贪心的居民全都犯上反叛，寄存在那里都不服安，是以他们被迫跟一个处置不法活动的搞笑双人组合作，这两位活宝Theodore Ogelvie 与Amos Tucker 是以展开一场金矿抢劫行动，他们却不知对方也不是省油的灯，正有一队神枪狙击手在等着他们…
