◎简 介
专事研讨吸血鬼的阿布荣西尤斯教授（Jack MacGowran 饰）为了猎杀可骇的吸血恶魔，带着助手阿尔弗莱德（罗曼·波兰斯基 Roman Polanski 饰）来到位于东欧的特兰西瓦尼亚山区。师生二人下榻在雪山脚下的一所酒店，酒店内挂满了大蒜，特别老板沙戈（Alfie Bass 饰）女儿莎拉（莎伦·塔特 Sharon Tate 饰）的房间更是盛大。教授见此情形很是欣喜，意想到自己找对了地方；阿尔弗莱德则迷上了美丽动听的莎拉。某个夜晚，莎拉忽然被来自山顶的吸血鬼科若洛克伯爵（Ferdy Mayne 饰）掳走，越日沙戈也被吸血而死。为了拯救美丽的女孩，师生二人拼命上山，闯进鬼影幢幢的阴森古堡……
导演罗曼·波兰斯基经过这部影片与莎伦?塔特堕入热恋，次年二人结婚，但怀孕中的莎伦未几便为曼森家属残暴地杀戮。
