◎简 介
由英、美两国结合建造，在美国的有线电视台首播然后才在各地电影院推出公映的另类童话片，将传统的《白雪公主》故事改拍成黑暗、阴森和血腥的哥德式可骇片，配角也酿成了西格尔内．维弗饰演的狠心后母。她由于从魔镜中晓得继女儿居然比她还标致，乃用毒苹果加害继女，并用各类巫术魔法将她熬煎。全片在捷克等东欧国家的森林实景拍摄，映象气概具有稠密的中世纪色彩，吐暴露一种阴冷的邪恶氛围。导演迈克尔．科恩与女配角都表示出色，分饰父女的萨姆．尼尔和吉尔．贝洛对照之下较弱。
