西班牙導演侯迪·永帕特(Jordi Llompart)所執導的前進非洲的奇异之旅 (Viaje mágico a áfrica /Magic Journey to Africa)，預定於2010年一月六日首映，將成為歐洲第一部非寫實的3D立體影象電影。
這部片耗資一千萬 歐元的電影分別在那米比亞(8wk)、南非(2wk)與巴塞隆那(3wk)拍攝，是一個「有骨有肉」(西班牙人的講法)故事，充滿溫馨與動物。導演用這部电影來紀念他於2007年在那米比亞發生車禍归天的女兒－漢娜。
這部片只比詹姆士·柯麥隆(James Cameron)將於聖誕節檔期上映的電影 Avatar(天神下凡)稍晚，但較史蒂芬·史匹柏（Steven Spielberg）與彼德·傑克森的 The Trilogy of The Adventures of Tintin (叮叮冒險記三部曲)早了許多 (第一部是：獨角獸的奥秘 Secret of the Unicorn)。也是第一部獲得歐洲影音推廣計畫補助的非寫實3D立體影象電影。
炎熱的氣候 3D拍攝的複雜度讓劇組吃了很多苦頭，而歐洲的電影似乎也面臨的極大的挑戰，看起來和台灣差不多(我想好萊塢是最大的衝擊)。導演說觀眾已經厭倦了频频重複且缺少驚喜的陳腔濫調了，雖然進入了3D的時代，仍須尋找說故事的元素 －－好劇本與創新的影音呈現。
說故事就是電影的本質，聲光的刺激全天下都難敵好萊塢的。雖然麥可·貝的「變形金剛」如此華麗震动，可是「女人香」(Scent of a Woman)、「我的希臘婚禮」(My Big Fat Greek Wedding)、或更久之前的「窈窕淑女」(My Fair Lady)，甚至是「窈窕淑男」(Tootsie)這些电影同樣使人印象深入，且回味再三。
