◎简 介
天赋和疯子经常只是同一小我的两种描写。神探陈佳彬（刘青云 饰）就是这样一小我物，和天赋画家梵高一样，他也已经割下自己的耳朵。虽然破案无数，侦察才能超凡，却终被世俗认定是疯子一个，提早从警局里退了休。
捕快何家安（安志杰 饰）接到了一桩辣手的案件。案发地在树林，两名警察王国柱（李国麟 饰）和高志伟（林家栋 饰）办案以后，只要高志伟平安归来，而王国柱和他的枪则奥秘失落。何家安请来陈佳彬为他指导迷津，却未推测陈佳彬的“疯子”行为又一次在侦察进程中表露无遗。他判定高志伟就是此案凶手，并把推理建立在他自己大量的设想之上。他自称能看到高志伟的“七宗罪”，正是这些罪行把高志伟引向犯罪之路。但是，要何家安相信这一切并不轻易，由于他已经被高志伟的演技所迷惑……
