◎简 介
特纳（哈莉·贝瑞 Halle Berry 饰）是一位911报案中心的接线员，一天她接到一个小女孩的电话，宣称有陌生人闯入家中，特纳随即让她躲起来，但是此时通话忽然断线，特纳焦虑地回拨，不意却是以表露了女孩的潜藏地，令其不幸被入侵者杀戮。今后特纳堕入惭愧的深渊，没法再担任接线员的工作。半年后，特纳当了一位接线员导师。此日，一个新手接到一传递案电话，另一真个女孩凯西（阿比盖尔·布蕾斯琳 Abigail Breslin 饰）被绑匪困在汽车后备箱中，情况非常危机。经过侦察，特纳居然发现暴徒就是昔时杀死阿谁小女孩的凶手，出于愤慨和赎罪，她立即下定决心要亲身将暴徒缉捕归案。一场惊心动魄的电话缉凶行将展开，但是令众人意想不到的是，一个隐藏多年的奥秘也渐渐浮出水面……
