◎简 介
影片故事发生在中美洲的玻利维亚，也就是《虎豹小霸王》的两位仆人公最初丧生的地方。山姆·夏普德饰演的美国男人杰克·布莱克索恩（Blackthorn）以养马为生，感应死期不远的他决心回到美国。在途中杰克与爱德华多·诺列加饰演的逃犯相遇，两人渐渐建立起了纷歧般的友谊。
本片可谓《虎豹小霸王》的后传，是西班牙电影中并不常见的西部题材，由美国男星山姆?夏普德与西班牙帅哥爱德华多?诺列加合演。
“西部题材究竟上是一种道德题材，脚色面临的挑选简单而纯洁，生与死亦或是自在、信誉、虔诚、勇气、正义甚至是爱”，导演马泰奥?吉尔称，“他们做出的决议不但布满了戏剧结果，而且有着教化意义”。
吉尔是著名导演亚历桑德?阿曼巴的编剧同伴，曾执笔过《展开你的双眼》、《深海长逝》、《城市广场》等作品。他在1999年执导的童贞作《邪魔更生》也是由诺列加主演，曾获得戈雅殊效提名，以后还在2005年推出过名为《魔鬼》的电视电影，《黑波折》是他的第三部长片。
