◎简 介
这是南加利福尼亚的普通一天。交通冷冷清清，阳光亮媚，冲浪者在海浪中游玩。这也是位于圣地亚哥四周的San Onofre核工场的一个普通工作日。但是，这正是狂风雨之前的安静。可骇份子以迅雷不及掩耳之势占据了核工场。一个公路巡警发现情势不妙发出求救信号，多量差人闻信而至，批示部分挖空心机惟控制住场面。 同时FBI在工场四周发现了一部可疑车辆，车上有关于可骇活动的指导书，核工场的平面图，还有一本驾照，驾驶员名为Khalid Jarrah。一切的线索都表白这是一路与911事务及其类似的可骇事务。可是这究竟是阿谁构造的可骇份子，他们此次行动的目标究竟是什么呢？核工场当地的大众都被告急分散，各地媒体如苍蝇叮臭肉般的围拢过来，而差人的批示部内还是一片紊乱。眼看着一场大灾难将不成避免地发生。接着Khalid顺遂接驳到了支流媒体的通讯卫星，他的庞大阴影覆盖了全国甚至全天下。他告诉人们美国政府将对此次事务负责，他们没有从911可骇事务中接管经验，而且到今朝为止他们还没有对国内的核设备停止需要的反可骇庇护。
